The Journey

Actually, our story has already been unfolding for a while…

After a variety of travels to places mostly off the beaten path, which bless through their special ethnologic, geographic and cultural essences only the most daring explorers who desire new experience. This time the wind blew the sail to the heart of Africa.

Through the combination of key elements - from experience, inventiveness, acquired knowledge and an enormous motivation - an upgrade of our adventures is only a step away. This time we will also film a documentary that will also have an environmental and humanitarian flavour.

OUR JOURNEY:

The 6-month, carefully planed tour will guide us from Kenya to South Africa. Mostly it is well planned and scheduled as far as the timing and the “epicentres” are concerned. Eva will start her journey Klagenfurt - London - Nairobi on 12th of January 2009. In Nairobi, Kenya, she is going to perform voluntary work in the Njaaga’s Child Hope orphanage in the village of Kiringero, 200 km out of the capital. Simona will join her a month later and they will head for Uganda and later carry on to Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique, where they will do 2-months voluntary work in the village of Maputo. In the framework of Missionary Ventures South Africa they will teach and help preschool children (2-6 years). Afterwards they will carry on to Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa, which will be the point of their return.
